Vail Ticketing Kiosk
The Vail Resorts Ticket Kiosk is an outdoor kiosk installed through existing ticket windows in Vail Resort locations.
This line buster application speeds up the bottleneck normally occurring at peak times of the day (morning and afternoon) to speed ticketing transactions for those paying by credit card, as well as giving the skier an opportunity to purchase lift tickets after hours.
Components were designed for extreme weather including a high-brite LCD display with rugged outdoor touchscreen, along with metal push buttons around the display frame for below zero temperature operation. This kiosk also includes a full-capacity lift ticket printer, credit card reader, receipt printer, and an overhead LED moving message display to attract customers to the kiosk.
