The KioskCom show, held in Las Vegas, is a major tradeshow event each year for Kiosk Information Systems.
This year we showed a new concept kiosk which is a digital media station designed for multi-user. We refer to the kiosk design
internally as is "Big Daddy" and you can see it pictured to the right.
This unit was designed, built and delivered in less than 3 weeks. It holds a CD Burner and a CD Printer (prints directly on CD)
in the main center console. For the show, St. Clair Interactive provided
custom Snaptrax software.
Kiosk Information Systems took home five awards from KioskCom which include the Sony PictureStation,
the ExxonMobil E-Wiz (with Info Touch), BurnASong music kiosk (with TouchNSurf), and the Fedex Shipping Kiosk.
See our news release for details.
The FedEx kiosk was also highlighted at the show. In a standing room only seminar, Pat Johnson (IT Manager, FedEx) discussed the
details of this highly successful and complex project. Pat shared some very specific, "real life" principles of success
that would benefit any self-service kiosk initiative. If you are considering a similar project and would like to get a copy of the
presentation, please contact your account manager here at Kiosk Information Systems.
