Kiosk Information Systems Qualifies as Finalist in Nine of Eleven Awards Categories
LOUISVILLE, Colo., April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Kiosk Information Systems,
Inc. entered six of its kiosk applications in the 3rd Annual KioskCom
Interactive Kiosk Excellence Awards to be presented in Las Vegas this week.
All six entries qualified as finalists in nine of the 11 award categories.
The awards, www.kioskawards.com, were established in 2002 to honor, recognize
and promote the best kiosk implementations over the past year.
KIOSK will feature six pavilion displays at KioskCom 2004 featuring
applications for Human Resources and Security, Bill Pay and Order Entry,
Public Internet Kiosk access, Gaming, Vending and Ticketing Kiosks and well as
Retail and Entertainment. KIOSK will also be demonstrating enterprise class
Remote Monitoring and management systems. Among the clients and partners for
these kiosk applications are Cricket, Neptune, Wal-Mart, US VISIT, St. Clair,
3M, JCM, Apunix, Cyphermint, Info Touch, Netkey, TouchPoint, NetStop and the
United States Postal Service. KIOSK Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tom Weaver, is a scheduled
presenter at the conference and will share his experience in successfully
bringing pilot kiosk projects to full production and implementation. KIOSK
software channel manager, Craig Keefner, will be formally inducted by Kiosk
Magazine into the Kiosk Hall of Fame during the conference. He will also
serve as moderator for a panel discussion among representatives of Borders
Group, America West Airlines and the Pittsburgh Steelers on wireless
