KIOSK INFORMATION SYSTEMS PARTNERS WITH MINDSEARCH TO DEVELOP INTERACTIVE, CONSUMER SURVEY KIOSKS

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Kiosk Information Systems recently announced its contract with Texas-based MindSearch, a leading developer of marketing research systems, to design and manufacture interactive, multi-media kiosks to conduct polling and collect consumer opinions for various companies' market research needs. Currently located in high-traffic shopping malls in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia and St. Louis, MindSearch kiosks will expand to up to eight additional mall sites by summer 2002.

KIOSK designed a completely new custom kiosk configuration to enhance MindSearch's consumer interaction concept. The configuration consists of two bronze and blue, C-shaped units with two survey stations each and an attendant station in the middle. Respondents answer survey questions via touch screen monitors that are linked to units with sound and coupon-generation capabilities. The attendant station, which contains a built-in monitor and computer terminal to download survey information, features MindSearch's logo and a lighted display area for consumer incentive prizes. A survey administrator is present within the attendant station during mall hours to answer questions, assist participants, and oversee technical systems and the survey process. Moving message displays above the kiosk stations function to attract potential respondents from all directions.
