Interactive Kiosks Installed at Pepsi Center

Broomfield Company Custom Manufactures New Kiosks For Colorado Arena

Broomfield, Colo. — When the new Pepsi Center opens its doors on October 1, it will sport the latest versions of custom kiosks manufactured by Kiosk Information Systems of Broomfield, Colo. Arena-goers will have access to 15 electronic kiosks placed throughout the center including Internet access kiosks, Web site kiosks and interactive game kiosks.

What Kind of Kiosks Are They?

  • US West Internet Business Center: These two kiosks, located on the Club Level, offer free Internet access to fans. Check your e-mail, browse the web, or send and receive information between quarters at the game.
  • PepsiCenter.com kiosks: Located in 12 different locations throughout the arena, these kiosks promote the PepsiCenter.com Web site by allowing fans to see and use the site while at the arena. A touch screen allows users to navigate around the site for upcoming schedules, ticket and seat information, etc. "Providing live PepsiCenter.com access to people while they are at the venue, promotes use of the site from their home or office," explains Rick Malone, KIOSK President, "it’s all part of web branding or getting consumers to use the new media as a source of entertainment information."
  • Conoco’s Play at the Pump kiosk: Located on the upper level concourse, Play at the Pump is a unique design housing replicas of a 1940s, a 1960s and a 1990s Conoco gas pump. The colorful pumps have been converted to electronic kiosks allowing users to play games of skill and win prizes redeemable at front range Conoco locations.
