KioskCom NY - Platinum Sponsor
Booth #401

With the Aspen trees already turning, KIOSK is gearing up for the fall KioskCom Self Service Expo in New York City. Mark your calendar for October 23rd and 24th to join us at the Jacob Javits Convention Hall. Aside from enjoying autumn in NYC, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your company’s unique solution needs with a full KIOSK Sales and Consulting Staff.

As a Platinum Show Sponsor, KIOSK will be participating in the Passport to Self-Service Promotion, which affords show attendees the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes. Visit KIOSK booth #407 for a chance to win a 42” High Definition Plasma Television from Hewlett Packard, an HP Digital Camera / Photo Printer package, and 10 fully loaded MP3 Players from Felix Group.

If you would like to schedule a private meeting with our staff in NY, please contact Cheryl Madeson, KIOSK Marketing Manager at (303) 661-1648. Alternately, you can email cmadeson@kiosk.com.

Read on for a sample preview of new kiosks, applications, and deployments.

Felix Group’s MAX BOX will make it’s US debut in New York

Felix Group is raising the bar on digital retail kiosk functionality. MAX BOX features photo printing, mobile top-ups, flower ordering facilities, a jukebox, fun games (no licensing required), football photos, direct to device mobile phone downloads, a Wi-Fi hotspot, web browsing, an ATM option, and Everyone’s a Winner.

Everyone’s A Winner is a timed interactive prize swap, where players are guaranteed a prize valued at 2 – 5 times the currency played. In addition to being quite addictive, it’s a brilliant sales tool for participating advertisers, promoting everything from vacations to restaurant vouchers and beauty treatments.

These kiosks are already deployed throughout the UK in bars, restaurants, cinemas, retailers, gas stations, and banks. Try it for yourself at the show!

Outdoor enthusiasts will welcome Cabelas' new retail shopping kiosks, currently entering their pilot stages of deployment. Cabelas, the World’s Foremost Outfitter, designed four variations of their kiosk – one each for their catalog order center, promotions (shown left), a guided selling kiosk, and a unique design for their exclusive gun library.

KIOSK executives are heavily devoted to the success of this deployment. Rick Malone (KIOSK Owner) and Tom Weaver (VP of Sales & Marketing) show off evidence of direct deposit to Cabelas.

Look for the Cabelas retail kiosks featured in eight stores within NE, IL, MN and WI. For more information visit www.cabelas.com.

TIO will be showing their 2nd generation self-serve bill pay kiosks in New York, along with a demo of their application interface. TIO has achieved well over $756M in automated bill-pay transaction volume with 1300+ self-serve kiosks and 2000+ hybrid ATM kiosks and clerk-assisted financial services solutions already in the field.

Located in convenience stores and Utility Company offices throughout the US, cash preferred customers have convenient, 24/7 access to pay bills, purchase money orders, as well as pre-paid Master Cards. Customer adoption on this deployment has been exceptional.

TTI Technologies International will showcase their new Concierge on Demand application. This fresh kiosk application provides hotel guests all the benefit of a staffed concierge desk, including the ability to make restaurant reservations, purchase theatre tickets, book airport shuttle services, and print airline boarding passes. Guests can print their vouchers immediately from the kiosk.

Hotel Owners benefit in three ways:

  1. Increased guest satisfaction and loyalty via full turnkey concierge service implementation.
  2. Reduced labor costs associated with concierge staffing and increased efficiency of front-desk professionals.
  3. Increased revenue through shared commissions on pay-for-use concierge services.

KIOSK is very pleased to announce Dan Stewart as our new International Sales Director. He has an impressive sales background, including a successful history within KIOSK’s US Eastern Sales Region. Already well seasoned in the industry, Dan will be a huge asset to our International clients and partners. Dan is also taking on Sales Management for ZOOX Stations, KIOSK’s subsidiary company dedicated to the development and deployment of multifunction kiosk technology. Join us in congratulating him on the dual promotion in such key areas for the company!

Self-Service KIOSK Information

February 19, 2007

KIOSK is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor for this year's KioskCom Self Service shows in Las Vegas, Dubai, and New York. We're preparing to showcase our newest kiosk designs and exciting new customer deployments for 2007.

Read on for a sampling of our best and brightest show entries, as well as new additions at KIOSK:

The DESKTOP Series – KIOSK's Newest Standard Product:

In response to long-term demand for a seated transactional kiosk, the Desktop Series was released in January 2007. Extended use applications such as job application, Internet retail, and employee benefit review often demand an inviting seated footprint designed for extended use. This compact, yet power-packed kiosk provides laser-printing capability, a full complement of media reading options, and graphic or backlit signage for valuable advertising and branding space.

NEW GAMING DEPLOYMENTS:

Eye-grabbing graphics are only the beginning of the bragging rights tied to the Hooter's themed sports betting kiosks from Leroy's Race and Sports Book and ISI, Ltd. The iSports Stand (co-developed between ISI and AWI Manufacturing, Inc.) was recently deployed in Hooters Casino Hotel as a stand-alone sports book, providing nearly 24/7betting access. In addition to the huge success tied to the easy betting interface, ISI is the first to legally capitalize on casino floor advertising sales. ISI captured the essence of complete self-service, introducing reservations, event ticket sales, even tee times as added functionality to their betting kiosks. Leveraging complimentary revenue sources makes for an impressive ROI – undoubtedly the fuel behind multiple new casino deployments throughout the Vegas strip. This innovative solution will be featured in KIOSK's booth (#214), and shown live on the 2007 KioskCom bus tour. Learn more at www.isisports.com.

The Army Recreation Machine Program (ARMP) MPOG Station is KIOSK's second gaming entry featuring cutting edge design and functionality. With nearly 400 machines installed in military bases all over the world, there is no question of deployment success. The MPOG features high-speed Internet coupled with 20 PC / Xbox™ / Playstation™ game titles from the world's top tier developers. The station design appeals to the highest gamers' standards, featuring a 26” LCD display, high-end video card, subwoofer sound system, and video camera. U.S. Army soldiers have instantaneously adopted this addition to ARMP's portfolio, lining up to stay in touch at home and take advantage of some well-earned downtime.

NEW TRAVEL & TICKETING SUCCESS:

Amtrak and SITA are gearing up for nationwide deployment of their next generation self-ticketing kiosk. Matt Hardison, Chief, Sales Distribution & Customer Support, will be a featured speaker at KioskCom, addressing best practices for Identifying and Overcoming Kiosk Course Corrections. Having managed all stages of a complex solution between Amtrak and SITA, he has unique insight into leading key aspects of a successful deployment.

The Amtrak / SITA kiosk is an industry leading example of ADA compliance with unique headphone and device mapping hardware integration for visually impaired patrons. This kiosk also features successful compliance with new regulations regarding VISA PED and 3DES integrated in their encrypted pin pad. Technology aside, Amtrak and SITA are anticipating this next generation of ticketing to be even more popular and profitable than the first.

National Car Rental has completed the beta test phase of their Car Rental Agreement Kiosks, and have proven seamless performance of their software application and kiosk architecture. Eager customer adoption was also easily proven in Dallas, Las Vegas, and Jacksonville airports. With these successful milestones behind them, National is gearing up to deploy 143 new kiosks by summer's end. Their self-service rental agreement kiosk completes contracts 20 - 40% more efficiently than traditional counter agents. Clients who are already accustomed to self serve check-in with airlines, have readily adopted the touch and swipe approach to renting their cars. With 85 locations in the works by summer, this kiosk will become an airport standard.

NEW FACES:

To support KIOSK's record growth in 2006, we've added some new talent to our Sales and Marketing Team.

Steve Jeziorski (right) has teamed up with Larry Tolle to support growth in the North Central Territory. Steve has an impressive high tech sales background with over ten years experience. Steve joined KIOSK over the summer, and is already well versed in the industry.

Dan Stewart joined Abby Boes to round out the NorthEast Sales Territory Team in August 06'. Dan is a seasoned professional with the vast majority of his career spent in professional sales and consulting. Dan's efforts coupled with Abby's 8+ years of industry expertise, has already proven to be a valuable resource to the territory.

Cheryl Madeson and Jennifer Phillips are heading up Marketing efforts for KIOSK, working to showcase the best of our customer's efforts. A full trade show schedule, new products, press releases, customer design awards,
and industry publicity are rounding out current efforts.

A recently completed three-minute video of the KIOSK facility and what we uniquely deliver is available on the home page of our website, www.kiosk.com. Please let us know of any new developments or press releases that would be timely for you – cmadeson@kiosk.com.

Countering the sampling of what's new, here's a final mainstay tradition…

No KioskCom show in Vegas is complete without the KIOSK Arnold Palmer Invitational. Delegate whatever is necessary to join the KIOSK Management Team on Tuesday, April 24th for 18 holes of pre-show preparation.

There are still a few spaces open – if you are interested please contact Craig Keefner at KIOSK, or email to craig at kiosk.com

Hope to see you at KioskCom. Please come by our Booth - #214.
